Second Brain
Private beta · Mac + iPhone

Talk to your Mac.
Get things done.

Second Brain is a voice-first AI assistant that remembers your context, searches your files, and can control your Mac to help with the work in front of you.

“The final deck should be in Maya’s email from April.”

“Find the document from 2014 about the kitchen renovation.”

“Compare 60 cm ovens under €1,200 in a spreadsheet.”

Useful in the moments that matter

One assistant. A much wider range.

The point isn’t a longer feature list. It’s having one place to bring all the loose ends of a real day.

01

When the project is spread across places

Find Maya’s final launch deck—it should be attached to an email from last spring. My meeting notes are in Projects/Launch. Open both and add the three decisions we made to the launch plan.

I found the attachment in Maya’s April email and the matching meeting notes. The launch plan is open with the three decisions added under September milestones.

  • Searches email
  • Finds local files
  • Updates a document
02

When the words are almost right

The email to the team is open in Mail. Use the July forecast in Downloads to make the second paragraph clearer and less defensive. Keep my tone and leave it as a draft.

I used the final July forecast and rewrote the second paragraph around the two numbers that changed. The revised email is still open as a draft for you to review.

  • Reads the right source
  • Rewrites in your voice
  • Controls your Mac
03

When the details are scattered

Find my Lisbon itinerary. The flight bookings should be in my email, and I made a list of places in my Travel notes. Find the first hotel’s location and open it in Google Maps in my browser.

I found both flight confirmations and your Lisbon notes. The first hotel is open in Google Maps, with the airport route and your saved places nearby.

  • Connects multiple sources
  • Navigates your browser
  • Works from your notes
04

When research needs a real deliverable

We need a 60 cm built-in electric oven for the new kitchen. Search manufacturer and retailer sites for models under €1,200 that can arrive this month. Make a spreadsheet comparing brand, model, price, capacity, energy rating, cleaning system, dimensions, warranty, and delivery date. Include source links and highlight the three strongest options.

I compared 18 current models and created the spreadsheet with a source link for every entry. Seven meet all the requirements; the three strongest matches are highlighted, with two delivery caveats noted.

  • Researches across the web
  • Creates a spreadsheet
  • Compares source evidence
How it comes together

The context builds. You don’t have to.

A request can start with your voice, pull a detail from an old email, cross-check a file on your Mac, and finish in the document or browser window you are already using.

Over time, Second Brain also learns the projects you’re carrying, the decisions you’ve made, and the way you prefer to work—so each request needs less setup from you.

A

Talk naturally

Speak to the orb on your Mac or continue from your iPhone. Small questions stay quick; bigger ones get the time and thought they need.

B

Keep your context

Second Brain can draw on your conversations, notes, files, ongoing plans, and preferences—so you spend less time explaining yourself again.

C

Move work forward

It can search, organize, reason, and take narrow actions on your Mac. Not just another answer box—a useful presence in the work itself.

And the hundred small things

Summarize this. Where did I put that? What am I forgetting? Open the right version. Help me think this through.

Your data remains yours

You can always inspect everything Second Brain knows about you.

Every file it has indexed. Every memory it keeps. Every conclusion it has drawn. All of it remains visible to you.

01

Every file and note Second Brain can search is visible to you.

02

Every memory and conclusion it uses is yours to inspect.

03

Actions on your computer are carried out by your Mac, with the conversation and results visible in your timeline.
